Jack Daniels Eve

Hey Y'all.

After a night on the town in Beale street enjoying some real fantastic bands (rate the band at BB Kings the highest) and good company we left Memphis this morning.

Went back into Beale street for some last minute purchases and for Simon to pick some strings at the guitar factory.

Nathan and Erin left us and went to Gracelands and meet up again at Lawrenceburg.

Pete, Kaz, Simon and I headed towards Lynchburg. Was a great drive today. Went off the main freeways and saw some more countryside. Saw my first cows since leaving home. Some really big houses along the way.

One of the things that amaze me are there are no fences, well not many. Great way to get to know your neighbors I guess.

Stopped at a little town to pick up some lunch and booze supplies and visited a local auto wreckers. Made our way to Bolivar and made some lunch and had a browse at the local shops.

Hit the road again and stopped at Savannah. Went to a frozen yogurt shop and the owner asked if she could take our photo as she had never had anyone from Aust or NZ in her store before. Wonder where that photo might end up!

Drove on a scenic route to our destination for the night - Lawrenceburg. Great cool off in the pool and enjoyed a couple of quiets and Buffett dinner at the restaurant next door.

Bout 1.5 hour drive to Jack Daniels in the morning. Booked in to the famous Miss Mary Bo Bo's for Simons 50th lunch. Wonder what Si might buy tomorrow........??
