A new stamp in our passports!

Washington DC this morning - Canada tonight! Friggin unbelievable! (401 miles later and an awesome drive. Probably the best country scenery yet and passed through lots of small towns).

Got in the car to drive to Buffalo or thereabouts and got to a motel that didn't have great rooms left. Made a phone call, booked a motel and programmed address into Peggy-Sue. Nek Minnut, border crossing into Canada! So very exciting.

Niagara Falls tomorrow, here we come. Very helpful man, in uniform, packing (with gun for novices) gave us great directions and was extremely helpful at the border. Fridge in backseat with fresh fruit and vege still not sure if allowed or not. He didn't ask, we didnt tell. He got out of his booth and came to our car to show us on the map where to go tomorrow not worried about the queue behind us. Nice bloke! Had to pay a huge toll to cross the border - $3.00!

So here we are in Canada. Different currency, kms on the sign posts and no bloody idea what the local time is. Loving this travelling business!

Can't post any photos as iPhone not working only iPad. So no emails either until back in America in next day or two.

Not sure if we here for 1 night or 2. The Falls are only 10 minutes up road! We need to be back in Detroit, Michigan by Friday night. Details why (hopefully) to be revealed in future blog. But a hint is - my husband is already excited!

Take care y'all until next time.
