Got to our Hotel and left all our luggage - and there is plenty of it - and hit the shops. Couldn't check in for a few hours so what better way to spend it - shopping! Hotel is in a great location, 5 minute walk to the Pier.
This place has such a fantastic atmosphere and vibe. You could really just sit in the street people watching. Between the street performers and general public there are very interesting sights. Including a hand shaking monkey, huge python draped around someones neck, drummers, singers, puppeteers and good looking bodies!
I visited my first Apple store. Not as exciting as I thought. Just too many people in there and with the release of iPhone 5 queues waiting to buy. I still managed a purchase tho!
All returned to the motel with bags, especially from the discounted shoe store. Made a plan to meet later and did our own thing.
Kathryn and I saw a Victoria Secrets store so decided we should go back for a look! What an experience. No photos of that visit sorry.
Headed across to the Pier to Bubba Gumps for dinner. Very loud but very good food and drinks and had a entertaining waiter who earned his tip.
Browsed around the Pier and back to the room, customary drinks and plans made for meeting in the morning for our bus tour.
Hollywood here we come. If I don't make it home, the next time you see me could be on the big screen. Yeah right!
