LA City Tour and Biking California Style

Another freakin awesome day. Started off with coffee and pastries in the foyer and then off on our LA sightseeing tour.

Tour included Hollywood, Sunset Strip, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive to name a few.

The bus trip started off with our own personal window cleaner to ensure any photos taken through the glass would be streak free. (thanks Si!)

At Rodeo Drive we walked amongst the wealth browsing in windows as most shops didn't open till either 11 or 12. Took photos and went into the foyer of Wiltshire Hotel where Pretty Women was filmed. Even saw the shop where Julia Roberts had the worst service! Sadly I didn't meet my Richard Gere, but I do have my own knight in shining armor.

YSL was open so in we went. I absolutely loved a key ring there, but at $450 I couldn't decide what colour would be best so left it there. Scarves were $800 plus.

Back to hotel and quick change into our exercise gear (no Lycra, boob tubes, g-strings or denim cut-offs) and off to hire push bikes. Awesome - riding down the beach from Santa Monica to Venice Beach. So many people, so many sights and so much entertainment. (photos to add of the Muscle Beach bodies when I get wifi, I promise!)

Had a half way stop at a great cafe in Venice Beach to refuel. Everyone enjoyed their meals and pitchers of Buds!

Back on the bikes and homeward bound. This is must for anyone traveling here to do. Just as good as biking in Central Park in New York.

All went our separate ways to do some shopping at the great retail outlets and met up again for drinks and dinner and compared purchases.

Plans made for tomorrow, 4 going 1 way, 2 the other. But without a doubt will be fun and great stories to share at dinner tomorrow night.
